App Preview win phone 8.1

Splash screen wont go away on Portrait.

When changed to Landscape, the splash screen gets resized to half of the screen and I can see part of the options and buttons on the other half.

How to resolve this?

Can you attach a screentshot for the problem you are seeing and also let us know which Win8.1 device are you seeing the issue on?

This issues has been corrected and will be fixed in the 3.0.0 release of AppPreveiw.  Thank you for finding/reporting the issue.

One thing to note with this splash screen is that what is happening in AppPreview will not be the same result in the build production app.  This is just a splash screen AppPreview puts up while it is getting the test app ready.
