Can I recover from a RealSense F200 camera firmware corrupted error?

I've got the following error message whilst trying to get the F200 RealSense camera working.

Is there a fix for this or do I need to send the camera back?

Possibly. Were you installing DCM 1.3 when you got this failure or ????

Try a different USB port.  Fixed our problem.  Camera was then found and we could install DCM 1.3

So we took the advice of trying a different USB port (we had only tried those on the front of the PC previously, so we went for one at the back), and lo and behold three new devices associated with the RealSense camera appeared in the Device Manager. Encouraged by this we attempted to install the Depth Camera Manager again: version 1.2 worked, but version 1.3 failed to install! We were then able to run some of the demo programs - all was looking good - for a while.

Since rebooting the machine we have been unable to get anything working again - regardless of USB port! This is characterised by the fact that only one USB device associated with the RealSense camera appears in the Device Manager.

I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do now other than return the camera!

Hey Graham!  I spoke too soon.  We were able to get it up and running using a new usb port... and we could actually install 1.2 and then 1.3 with no issue.  However, after a reboot both USB ports on the machine fail to find the camera and trying to install either version of DCM doesn't work.  1.2 doesn't find the camera and 1.3 says it's corrupt -4.  Completely at a loss.

Need a solution to get this camera back online.

I have the same problem.
Before the F200 is good.

I have download the firmware from CREATIVE support website.
But now I can't see my device in device manager.
Only can see Creatve 3D gesture Camera VF0800 (Audio)

DCM 1.3 said "CAN'T upgrade the firmware"
DCM 1.2 said "CNA'T see device"

I have changed the USB 3.0 port, and changed the PC.
The problem is the same.
