Can i connect F200 to my USB2.0

I have Windows 8.1, i5, 64 bits but don´t have Usb3.0. I connect my camera F200 to my Usb 2.0 but when i run Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager(DCM), i see this error: The installer failed to detect Intel® REALSENSE ™ 3D camera in the system. Installation has been canceled .  So it´s posible to work with F200 without having USB3.0 ?

Thanks.

USB 3.0 is a definite requirement for the RealSense camera, as USB 2.0 cannot supply it with enough power.  If you have a desktop computer, you can add USB 3.0 to your PC by purchasing a very cheap USB 3.0 expansion card that is installed by opening the PC's case and putting the card into an empty expansion slot in the machine.  Note that if your PC is less than 12 months old, doing so would invalidate the warranty.

You can get an idea of the cost of cards by searching Amazon for 'usb 3.0 expansion card'.  They tend to be priced inbetween $15 and $30.

If you have a laptop, a laptop can have USB 3.0 added to it via an external plug-in expansion called an Expresscard if your laptop has a connector that can have an Expresscard inserted into it.  They are the same price range ($15 to $30) as the internal cards.  Search for usb 3.0 expresscard'.

thanks for your reply. I know that the usb3.0 is a requirement but I thought at least I can connect the camera with lower performance, but apparently can not because not even the camera is detected.
