I have a Intel realsense F200 and i like to explore the opportunity to using F200 Depth Camera and measure the room dimension using this. Later on use this depth map for virtual fitting of furniture suggestion.

Can you guys tell me if i can use the F200 for creating the depth map, as i can't see any depth details when i check the stream from depth stream.

I thought it could not scanning a room. due to limitations of distance to create a depth. I think that is able to do camera distance is approximately 30 cm. it is possible to scan an object.

I think just using R200 which can scan room dimension.

Of course you can. Just get the depth frame, and get the X, Y, Z coordinates of those points.

Now you have a point cloud. You can process it further and generate a full 3D map of the room. It is not a simple process though.
