Can single Fortran user version access Floating license version on server?

Question from customer:

We were able to successfully get a downloaded copy of Fortran to obtain its license from the license server. So we know that basic licensing is working and have been able to test our specific software with it.

We then had hoped that we could temporarily point the four users who we previously purchased full single user licenses for (boxed copies) to the license server for further testing. We have not been successful at that. I sent that question to Intel Support online and have not heard back yet. Im wondering if possibly the single user license that is installed off CD somehow embeds the license and disregards the re-pointing of the INTEL_LICENSE_FILE variable to the server, that it might be different code than the downloaded single user copy.

We could further test by reinstalling the downloaded copy, but we are also still trying to see if we can just use our installed copies and just tell them to look to the server license. I found that at least one post online had a similar issue and it was not resolved.
