Can't Get 1440x900 resolution

I have a HP G70-111EM laptop, the screen size is 17" and uses 1440x900 resolution. I broke the screen so decided to use my moniter on it which is a 19" and also uses the 1440x900 resoulution. The problem is I can't get the resolution set to 1440x900 for the monitor. I've tried the driver ect what intel have provided but it doesn't work.

It also says its a philips monitor, but its an ASUS VW192S

The graphics chipset i have is a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Can somebody help me get it right?
