Can't Install RealSense SDK

Trying to install the SDK; both web setup and offline crash silently with no error after "Extracting configuration files".

Running Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit on an i7 machine, can't see anything in the event logs, any ideas?

Couple of ideas:

- Do you have enough space in your disk?

- Try running it as admin.

Thanks for the ideas, still a no go though. :(

50GB free on my system drive, and running as admin has same result.

mmm. Strange.

- Try restarting the computer (maybe some process is using something).

- Execute the installer from the command line, maybe some error will be written to the console.

Did you check application/System and other logs? If yes Pls run any windows updates and restart your machine.

Once done pls try to install once again

Make sure you have the August update from Microsoft
