I'm an academic user of Intel Parallel Studio XE 2013. I successfully installed the license server (with our license). To prepare for classes I installed the product on my (college owned) laptop. However at the time of the installation I did not have access to the license server so I installed the product using the "evaluation" option. When I next went to campus, where the license server is available, I attempted to fully activate my installation against the license server. However, I do not see any way to do that.
The installer gave me the option to use "alternative" activation methods (or something like that) but the Intel Software Manager utility appears to only allow me to enter a registration number directly. The registration number I have is not considered valid... at least not in that context.
How should I proceed? I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because a) that takes a long time and b) I've already updated a few of the components making such a process highly tedious. Surely there is an easy way to do what I want.
Thanks!

Hell Peter,
Please send me your serial number in a private message.i will send you the license file and then you can proceed to install by specfying the license file's folder when the installer asks ,it's not a good way to use Intel Software Manager utility to install in this context.
Thanks,
