Do the builds for Cordova Android Crosswalk (built with Intel XDK v1826) support emoji?
I was building with the regular Cordova Android builds and those builds were displaying emoji properly but when I tried switching over to Cordova Android Crosswalk builds, emoji stopped displaying properly.

It depends upon the operating system. Can you send some screen shots?

I don't have screenshots right now since I've switched to using the regular Cordova Android builds and those builds show emoji just fine.
To add to that, quite a bit of things have changed already (Cordova versions, Intel XDK versions, and now there's Crosswalk 12)
Here is a bit more information:
- Last month when I was building with Cordova Crosswalk 10 Android, emoji showed up as blocks instead of emojis on a Samsung S5 (Lollipop OS) but emojis showed up fine once I switched over to regular Cordova Android builds (thus, I don't think it's an operating system issue since both builds were deployed on the exact same device)
Anyways, since we now have Crosswalk 12, I am curious to see if it has the same issue. (Alas, I don't have time to follow up on it anymore and check since for me the issue is resolved with regular builds.)
As an aside, (if the issue is still present in Crosswalk 12) or if anyone else is having this issue with Crosswalk 10 and need to resolve it, I did find a workaround and that was to use twemoji - https://github.com/twitter/twemoji. ; It's basically emoji icons that Twitter uses.
