According to http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=33910, the Intel Core2 Duo Processor E8400 supports VT-x, needed to runXP-mode.
Two possible issues:
First, ifa VT-x option exists in theBIOS, then you'll need to enable it. You should go into theBIOS option menus during the bootsequence and look for the option.
If you don't see any such option thenits possible that your BIOS is outdated. You should lookon the http://www.gigabyte.com.tw web site to see whether a BIOSupdate is available for your system. The update may support the VT-x option.
