Error submitting Windows Phone 8.1 app

Hello everyone,

I've followed every step of the procedures to build WP 8.1 Cordova apps, but everytime I try to submit my package to MS Store, the following error occurs:

Package acceptance validation error: The Publisher attribute of the Identity element in the app manifest of file CordovaApp.Phone_1.0.2.0_AnyCPU.appxbundle is CN=$username$, which doesn't match your publisher ID: CN=97F19B53-9512-40C8-8F98-EF55E19EAAB6.

Everything is properly configured on Intel XDK environment, I assume, but I cannot get rid of this message (it replicates for all files inside the project).

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hello,

Phone apps must be submitted to the Windows 8 Phone store (they are two different stores). At the moment, the only way to build a Windows 8 Phone app with the XDK is via the "legacy" build tiles. See this doc for details: https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/tut-build-win8phone

Which app are you trying to build? Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Phone?

BTW -- Microsoft is going to simplify this with the release of Windows 10, at which point there will be only one Windows store. We do not yet support Windows 10.

Please see this post, the build engineer is working on the issue: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk/topic/563699
