I was able to compile in 32-bit but not in 64-bit, due to a license issue (see below). This is the evaluation version (of XE Composer 15) I downloaded a few days ago.
Anyway, to work around this quickly?
Thank you in advance.

Don't know if this is relevant, but the problem could be originated from (older) commercial license of Intel compiler?
In anyway, I need to - relatively urgently - evaluate the 64-bit build.

The older license will be ignored if it was expired on the issue date of the evaluation compiler. At installation, you should have been asked to supply the new evaluation license key or the license file which was emailed to you, If you have the license key, you can register it at https://registrationcenter.intel.com and have the option of getting a new copy of the license file emailed.

The older license was not an evaluation license, it was purchased from Intel. That license corresponds to an older version of the compiler.
At this point I have not received any email with evaluation license, should I !? Simply when I ran the installer, it prompted me to either enter a license (from an order) or continue by evaluating the product. I chose the latter.
Ideas?

I thought the response to an evaluation request would give you a license key and email a license. Maybe that has changed.
If you can install as an evaluation, that should give you a similar usage term. In my past experience, it was difficult to switch such an installation to a licensed one.

Well, the problem remains. Should I contact support in a more immediate way (email/phone)?
Thanks

jpanta,
when you get your license file ( .lic file), install this in C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses\ folder
if this doesn't fix the problem, re-launch the compiler installation .exe, during this installation select 'Use Existing License' and point to the .lic file.
Help us out: are you using Visual Studio 2013?
thanks

Everything worked just fine after copying the license file.
And yes, I am using visual studio 2013 (pro version) on windows 7.
Thank you.

Same problem. I'm also only able to use 32bit compiler.
Can you, please, send me the *.lic file(s) for x64.
