Firebird database Connect

Dear Friends.

Sorry for this dumb question. I'm a Delphi developer and beginner to hmtl5, css and js.  (XDK).

I'm wondering how could I make a firbird connection for my application? It is possible or i must  qo work with another DB, like Mysql, PostGress or SQLlite?

I recommend you see the comments by Andrea on this thread (https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk/topic/593327), although they are about authorization, the same principles apply.
