Hi,
we are interesting in using the intel compilers for cross platform development on Windows, OSX and Linux and would like to use floating licenses for our team and build servers. Do we need to purchase separate floating licenses for each operating system or can single licenses float across multiple operating systems?

Hi Bruno,
The licenses for the clients is OS specific so you would need to purchase separate floating licenses for each OS.
The license server manager can be installed on either Windows*, Linux*, or Mac OS* X machines regardless of the OS for each of your floating Intel software product licenses.

Hi Hal,
thanks for the reply. That basically triples our cost of using the Intel compiler, which makes us sad.
