Help with Multi core

My customer writes:

I installed the trial copy of Parallel Studio XE and am trying it on one of our development machines. Our production machine is a 32-core shared-memory system. Are there restrictions on the number of cores that executables can use for the regular single-seat license (the $2249 edition)? Apparently, PGI has a separate license for systems with more than just a hand-full of cores, something we want to avoid. We're also considering a second license of just the Intel Fortran Composer XE, so we have the same question regarding that package.

Please advise....Thanks
