Hi,

Wondering how to simulate the concurrent  license seats requirement.  I'm mean to trigger a license seats not enough error or something like that to see if the license mechanism works as expected.

Thanks

From the license manager perspective you can inspect the flexlm log to see if license management works, how many seats are available, the check-out/-in history from users and which users are actively holding license seats.

Users can create a LMD debug log to see if license management works and do some remote diagnostics to see if connection to the license server is established and licenses are available.

Please find more info on the license manager tutorial: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-software-license-manager-getting-started-tutorial

Does this help?

Regards, Hubert.

Thanks for reply.

The license manager has been configured successfully by following the tutorial.

What wanted to do is a Max. concurrency compiling request testing.

Say it's a 5-seats floating license,  wanted to see if  cause a license seats not enough error or something like that as expected when 10 users concurrency compiling requested

Tried with a script by using 'su' to simulate the 10 users concurrency, but failed.  So wanted to know if any available way to do the equivalent test.

Thanks
