How to turn on pages transitions in ionic project?

Hello, I tried to start a new ionic starter project from intel xdk.

I have a sub page that i have a button that changes the page for it, but when i check it, i can see there is no transition at all.

I was wandering what will be the best way to add this transition? when i start a regular ionic project not through xdk, it has those transitions from the start..
