Can you kindly provide more information regarding:
1. Which Sample you are referring to?
2. Which RealSense Camera you are using?Is it an Internal or External camera?
3. SDK and DCM versions that you have installed?

It sounds like a power supply issue.
Try using a powered hub, or a Desktop PC, or change the power settings in your laptop.
