Hello,
I just installed the license manager on my license server. Everything seems to be set correctly but when I run the service Intel fails and then the lmgrd exits. Here is the logged error. Any suggestions?
17:13:42 (INTEL) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 67 Exit reason 44
17:13:46 (lmgrd) INTEL exited with status 67 (Not able to resolve local host)
17:13:46 (lmgrd) This error probably results from:
17:13:46 (lmgrd) 1. DNS server not able to resolve localhost.
17:13:46 (lmgrd) 2. /etc/hosts file does not contain an entry for localhost.
17:13:46 (lmgrd) To correct the problem put localhost entry in /etc/hosts file.
This is a virtual machine.

Hi Rob,
This error may occur on machines that cannot find the localhost. Can you please try to ping the localhost to see if it works, and can you please add the following line in /etc/hosts:
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
Thanks.

::Solved::
I found that in the Windows firewall under the Scope tab, Remote IP Address was set to These IP address:local subnet. I changed this to Any on both Intel Software License Manager vendor daemon rule and it is now working. Thank you
