Installation Error

I am trying to update my Intel XDK ( I am using minux ) and while installation its asking me root / sudo pasword. I gave the correct pasword but it still says authontication error. Please check your password.

We do not support minux. Has it worked for you before? Officially XDK is supported on Windows, Mac and Ubuntu Linux.

Try starting the install script as root or using sudo. Might work better.

Hi, I try upgrade to 1826 in my Linux Mint 16/64bits (i work with v1816) and i can do that: the installation  asking me root / sudo pasword. I gave the correct pasword but it still says authentication error.

First login as root, then start the install script. See if that works better.
