Installing XDK

Hi!

My name is Juliet. I have downloaded XDK for my Mac 10.12.1. When I click on the icon to launch,I am being asked for an administrator password. I need it for a class on HTML 5 through the EDX site. HELP!!!!

I'm receiving the same error message - requesting my administration password but it will not accept my correct password.

I re-set my password to follow the above advise and it's still not working.  Please help!
