Intel Parallel Studio stopped to work after product support period expired

Hello, my name is Tomasz.

I have a problem with running Intel C++ compiler. I obtained a half-year license for Intel Parallel Studio in the promotion for Intel Xeon Phi 31S1P coprocessor. A few months ago, in the product support period (23.01.2015 - *.06.2015), everything worked fine - I could compile my Intel C++ compiler projects. Now that support period has expired and yestarday I have tried to compile one of my Intel C++ compiler projects in Visual Studio (which Parallel Studio is integrated with), and I got that error:

------ Build started: Project: SolveModel, Configuration: Release Win32 ------

Error: A license for CCompW could not be obtained
  Your license has expired.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
      1.  Trusted Storage
      2.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\\Intel\Licenses\COM_W___****-********.lic
      3.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\\Intel\Licenses\USE_SERVER.lic
      4.  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses
      5.  C:\PROGRA~2\Intel\COMPOS~1\bin\ia32\*.lic

Please visit http://software.intel.com/sites/support/ to obtain license renewal information.

icl: : error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

(****-******** - in that place is my license key)

I have Intel Software License Manager running on the same machine. The same error I got on other machine which is also licensed to run Parallel Studio (through Software License Manager running on the first mentioned machine).

Also when I tried to upgrade Parallel Studio to version 2015 Update 4, I have got similar error saying that the license key I provided is not valid or expired. When I tried to use other ways of confirming license like the license file or License Manager the result was negative too.

Please help me - without Parallel Studio, the Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessors I bought are useless for me.

Hi Tomasz,

I don't know the details of the promotion you are in.  Can you send me a private message with whoever you were working with at Intel for this promotion?  From what I can see, your license was set to expire.

James.
