This update was made to fix the following issue from the August release (version 2323):
- This update fixes an issue with the Intel XDK Windows updater. Node-webkit was not getting properly updated to a newer version when an automatic update was performed. If you downloaded the installer package and installed directly versus using the automatic updater, the proper version was used.
For detailed information on the release, please see the release notes here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/release-notes-information-intel-xdk

@ Alvin H.
Do you have full permissions on your work computer, or is there some sort of software the prevents you from installing?
@ Adam
Please save you entire build log and attach it to to a new thread.

Thank you for creating Intel XDK. But in my applications I stopped working <audio> tag. No sound or moving the slider to the controls. but the ‘play’ changes to ‘pause’. I tried to create a simple application of a pattern «Audio Player App», but it does not work <audio> tag. tested on Android devices version 4.4.2. What happened? 3 months ago <audio> work.
Please, help

@Dmitry -- are you build for Crosswalk? If so, there is a known issue regarding audio playback. We are working on a solution. As a workaround, you can build with shared mode option or upgrade your project to CLI 5.1.1 with the new 2496 release and build with CW15. Then your audio will work.
