Hi all.
I submitted a request of an academic license for Parallel Studio 2017 and received an e-mail
with the serial number and a link for download, but during license activation I get a message that says
my serial is invalid. I also tried to activate with the .lic file I received by email but the same problem occurs.
Does anyone know possible reasons for that ?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Frederico,
Are you using the license for "Educator Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* Version: 2016" to install "Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE 2017 Cluster Edition for Linux*"?
If so, you're the second case I heard.
I will check with our engineers about this issue.
Best regards,
Soflen

Dear Soflen.
I received an automatic e-mail with serial number and a link to download
"Educator Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* 2016" but the "Download Now" buttom
pops up a dialog box with parallel_studio_xe_2017.tgz ...
I've already tried to use this serial number for parallel_studio_xe_2016_update3.tgz but got the same
"invalid serial number" message. I've checked my hardware ID and it seems to be correct. I really don't have
any clue about what might be happening.
Thanks for your attention and best regards,
Fred
