Is there any way to debug the project files on the testing device?

Thanks for pointing out that the answers to the FAQs are missing from the the Intel App Preview page. We'll fix that ASAP.
With regard to your question about how to debug project files on the testing device, please take a look at the Debug and Test Overview page.  It provides detailed instructions for several approaches to using your test device to perform debugging, including via Intel App Preview and via apps that you build using Intel XDK.
