Hi,

I have a licence problem with my installation of the Intel Suite. I have

- Parallel Studio XE 2016 (Can't remember if I have installed the trial version or if I have used my installation key)

- OpenCL

VTune works fine, but icc does not work. It shows :

Error: A license for Comp-CL could not be obtained (-1,359,2).

Is your license file in the right location and readable?
The location of your license file should be specified via
the $INTEL_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
    1. Trusted Storage
** 2. /opt/intel/licenses/*.lic
** 3. /root/intel/licenses
** 4. /opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2016.0.109/linux/licenses
** 5. /home/fayard/intel/licenses
** 6. /opt/intel//clck/3.0.1.030/licenses
** 7. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses
** 8. /opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2016.0.109/linux/bin/intel64/../../Licenses
** 9. /home/fayard/Licenses
** 10. /opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2016.0.109/linux/bin/intel64/*.lic

icc: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

What can I do to fix that?

Best regards,

Francois

Hi Francois,

All of the licenses I see associated with your email address are expired.  If you have a serial number, please send it to me via private message.  If you cannot find the serial number, please send the license files in /opt/intel/licenses.

Sincerely,
James.
