Hello,
I have a serial number that a coworker of mine was using to use Visual Fortran 11.0. He wants to transfer the license to me. However, when I try to register it, I get a message that the serial number is no longer valid. I would like to pursue either using the same license my coworker wants to transfer to me, or, if it's really expired, I would like to pursue getting a new license. I cannot find any information on the website about how to do this. Moreover, there seems to be no way to telephone a person or even leave a message for someone who might read it.
Can someone help? I do need this older version of Fortran, at least for now, and can't seem to figure out how to go about spending my company's money. Seems like it should be easier.

You will not be able to register an expired license (or use it to obtain support), but you should be able to use it to install and run compilers issued prior to expiration. You would need to get an actual license file, either by looking it up under the previous registration and having it emailed to the previously registered email address, copying it from a previous installation, or by getting help on this forum from someone with access to the Intel software sales database.
There are several pages about buying Intel software tools which you can find by a web search, e.g.

You are probably better off buying a new license rather than attempting to renew one which expired some time ago. The new license would entitle you to run the old version as well as newer versions issued within a year of registration.
It's not cost effective to renew the old license, but as Tim says, the serial number alone should be all you need to install. That said, Janice needs to get the download which she can't without a registered serial number. The licensing experts in this forum section can help with this, but I agree that buying a new license would be better than using a many-years-old version. Here's a link for that,
Please refer to below article on how to transfer a license if both users have the same email domain:
