Hi,
I have a machine with 4 Xeon Phi cards that I'd like to run in native mode with fast communication through the OFED stack. I am running RHEL 6.5 and I have installed OFED 3.18.1 which was released ~1 week ago.
Standard network settings will set up IPs:
Host: 172.31.x.254
mic0: 172.31.1.1
mic1: 172.31.2.1
mic2: 172.31.3.1
mic3: 172.31.4.1
With OFED installed, I also have (from ifconfig)
mic0:ib Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 4C:79:BA:20:0B:63
inet addr:192.0.2.100 Bcast:0.0.0.0 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MTU:64512 Metric:1
virbr0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 52:54:00:6A:65:FC
inet addr:192.168.122.1 Bcast:192.168.122.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
+ more
I am able to communicate between the host and mic0 through 192.0.2.100 and 192.0.2.101 (ib, both ways), but the other 3 cards don't work this way.
How do I set up this communication so it works with all cards?
Anders
