Hello,

Im using intel xdk to develop a hybrid app, so far i just generate and build it to .apk and now somehow i need to get .ipa but intel xdk force me to make p12 certificate. From what i read in internet, i need a mac to get p12 certificate. So i cant build .ipa in intel xdk if i doesnt have a mac ?

Thanks and regards,

David

Please follow the instructions provided in the cert management tool and in the Intel XDK documentation regarding how to create your iOS certs if you do not have a Mac; it can be done.

thanks for reply Paul,

but sadly i already follow it, i doesnt know why, but i think that documentation is useless now since "account" page in apple developer website already changed. Maybe a little bit of new help/guide is good for me.

You need to follow the instructions on this page > https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/intel-xdk-certificate-management#view-create-import-apple-certs < that say "Click No to use your Intel XDK account settings" and the ones that say "Or, if you click No to use your Intel XDK account settings" or "To create the P12 file using the Intel XDK and your Apple developer account," which will take you here > https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/articles/walkthrough-obtain-ios-appstore-adhoc-cert-and-p12 <

I just compared the screens on that last document with my account and they match, so I'm not sure what mismatch you are referring to. You must goto https://developer.apple.com/ and click the "login" link at the top of the page to get to your developer account portal.

Please see this webinar video on how to create a P12 and provisioning profile. https://software.intel.com/en-us/videos/app-certificate-management, the P12 creation part is at 16:45 min.

David, the answer to this screen:

xdk-certmgmt-create-ios-p12-step1dialog-1.png

is "NO" -- so it then will take you down the process of pretending you are on a Windows machine.
