Hi everyone,

You may have seen in the tech news the big splash that the latest version of the Windows 10 beta has been making.  A new build has been released by Microsoft today that contains some of the features that they showcased on Wednesday.

You can download the build as an ISO file to burn to a dvd and use as an install disk.  Microsoft say that if you have already installed the Windows 10 beta then it will be an automatic update on your existing version.

Great.  Have you tried it on the NUC?, any drivers issues?

I haven't got a NUC.  But my experience is that Windows 10 is faster yet less processor-intensive than the Windows 8.1 on the NUC.  This is likely because Microsoft designed 10 to be used on mobiles and Xbox One too.  So if the NUC can handle 8.1 fine then it isn't likely to have any trouble with 10.

As for driver issues ... I have been using RealSense and the camera in Win 10 for weeks and have worked flawlessly for me.  Same goes for all my other software.  Win 10 is rock solid and has superb compatibility with older programs.

Also, for all the people out there that cannot use the Intel Camera because they are using win7, you will be able to upgrade to Win10 for free and therefore be able to use the camera. This offer is for a limited time, a year from the launch of win10.
