No email with evaluation license file attached

Hi,

I want to evaluate the linux versions of the Fortran and C++ compilers, and at this time I want to install for a single user. The installation script tells me that I should have recieved an evaluation license file attached to a "confirmation email." I did recieve an email from Intel with the subject "Thank you for evaluating [...]" , but it had no attachment.

This is the output from the installation script:

Step 3 of 7 | Activation > Use a License File
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have chosen to install the software using a license file. If you requested
your evaluation software through the Intel web site, you will have received a
confirmation email with an attached license file.

From where can I get the evaluation license file that I need?

Cheers,

Øyvind

Hi, Øyvind

I can help generate a license file to you. I have sent you a private message for this.

Meanwhile do you have internet connection on your system? If so, you may have a try to install with a serial number instead.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Yolanda,

Thanks for the quick reply. The linux computer is connected to the internet, so I could try to install with a serial number. However, I cannot find anything about a serial number in the emails. Is there somewhere else I should look to determine the serial number?

Maybe the "confirmation email" got hung up somewhere? I'll send you the email adress I used for registration in a private message.

The issue is now resolved. Yolanda resent the "Thank you for evaluating..." email, and this time the license file was attached.

Thanks,

Øyvind
