I tried to use the "Intel Android Device USB driver" (Android_winusb.inf) but MSFT (win7) wouldn't install it for the Asus PadFone X Mini. It worked fine with the moto Razr I.
Anyone know how to pass this information along to the right people to get it fixed?

Hi Michael,
the Intel Android device USB driver are just for a couple of older, mainly operator branded devices.
Have you enabled the developer options? Do you see a device in the device manager? If yes you can try the following steps. They work on most of the Intel Android devices I'm aware of, but not on all. Especially I don't have access to a PadFone X Mini and can't verify if they are working or not.
- Make sure you have the Google and Intel USB drivers installed.
- Open the device manager of windows and locate the entry for your phone.
- Right click on the device and select "Update Driver Software"
- Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
- Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
- If you see an item in the list choose it. If not:
- uncheck the box "Show compatible hardware"
- Select "Google" - "Android Composite ADB Interface"
or
Select "Intel Corporation" - "Intel Android Composite ADB Interface"
You might need to try out both
- Select "Next"
- Try on a command line "adb devices" to see if you have access to your device now.
Hope this helps you!
Alex
