When Compaq will release patch of CVF6.6 ? I have internal compiler error, and vf-support were unable to find workaround but they fixed in next update. Thank.

If you're asking when the next update to 6.6 is (such as a 6.6A), this is not the right place to ask, since it's a user forum. I am not familiar with your specific issue, but please write back to vf-support if you have an immediate need for an intermediate update. We try to accomodate such requests.

John's link does not provide any information on the CVF6.6 upgrade CD. When, and where, is the 6.6 upgrade available on CD?

For users of Compaq Visual Fortran 6.5, a CD-ROM can be ordered at a nominal cost from Compaq's Fortran eStore - http://www.compaq.com/fortran/store/index.html - in the US and participating resellers worldwide (listed at http://www.compaq.com/fortran/visual/v66upg.html). Users of earlier versions can purchase a Version Upgrade kit at a discount from the full kit price (see http://www.compaq.com/fortran/visual/pricing.html). Through November 30, 2001, the Version Upgrade kits are offered at a special lower price.

I have the same servere problem with internal compiler error with most of my projects. I got the same frustrating message from vf-support which does not help me now. I bought the upgrade for a lot of money and expect it to be usable. I am not willing to wait onother half of a hear and pay again for the bugfix. Since even 6.5A has the same error and 6.5 has others I had to go back to 6.1A which was the last release working without problems for me.

We always help out people who are having significant trouble with a new release - all you have to do is ask. We're readying an update for the end of October, but have offered an interim update to users who need it. I found your request and will send you mail separately about this.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I did ask twice in intervals of three weeks (Aug 31, Sep 19, so nobody can say I am impatient) at vf-suport but did not get any reaction. This is why I posted my message here hoping that you will hekp me. Thanks again.
