Problems installing Intel C v 11 on Windows 2003 with VS 2005 and VS 2008

Subject : trying to install Intel v11 compilers - errors

Current status:

OS: windows server 2003

Visual studio 2005 with intel 10.1 compilers integrated

Visual studio 2008

trying to install Intel 11 compilers with integration into visual studio 8 only. the installation fails during package 7 with the following error (snipped from the install log)
