Hello,
Does the RealSense F200 worked under the Intel Atom Cheery Trail processor?
Thank you.

As far as I know there are not currently plans for the F200 to use Cherry Trail, though the mobile R200 camera will. However, RealSense users have found that the F200 will work to varying degrees with a number of processors that are not officially supported, including AMD ones. You probably won't get full camera functionality with such a processor (hand and face tracking being the ones least likely to work), but you will get something.

Ning, I agree that it is currently hard to find a device that has both Intel Atom (at least, the latest Cherry Trail) and USB 3.0. The Minnowboard MAX, launched in 2014, has a USB 3.0 port and an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor (the predecessor of Cherry Trail). Obviously the Bay Trail is not guaranteed to function with RealSense in the same way that Cherry Trail will be. However, as I mentioned in a comment above this one, developers on this forum have found that numerous supposedly non-supported CPUs work with the camera to varying extents.

Logically, it only seems to be a matter of time before a Cherry Trail device with USB 3.0 is released if a sequel to the Minnowboard MAX is made. However, logic does not always translate to the real world! For example, the Raspberry Pi boards and similar competitors to it continue to use USB 2.0. There seems to be something about low power micro-PC boards and USB 3.0 that do not easily mix ... one suspects it may be because USB 3 ports would draw more power from the board than USB 2 ones do.

Here's a mini PC that has Cherry trail and a USB 3.0 port: http://www.amazon.com/Tronsmart-Ara-X5-Windows-Graphics/dp/B015NT6UZQ/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41ibBFKnkgL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=0HW1JV4SHBDHC11A49J8
I'll be trying it with the R200 camera for a robot: http://xrover.topeakinsipe.com/2015/12/system-architecture/

For embedded solutions, you could try with the MinnowBoard Max, or with the Odroid XU4. They both have USB3. The minnowboard max has an Intel CPU as well.
