Solved: Renew license problem

Hi,

We have contacted an agent for renew IPP license, but they told that we cannot renew it since our previous license expired at May, 2010, and the only way is to buy a new one.

Is it true that we cannot renew it?

Dear Xie,

Actually, it is not correct. You are able to buy a renewal and apply it to the license which is expired anytime.
Note that your expiration date for this license will be shifted to 1 year from the date of expiration.
It will be May of 2011 for you case. I think that the reseller tried to say that you will lose 7 months of the support (due to this 1 year shift) if you ordera renewal and that is why suggested you to purchase a new license.
