Splash Screen

Is there a way to remove the splash screen completely so it does not show up?  I have tried adding the follow

<preference name="SplashScreen" value="none" />
<preference name="SplashScreenDelay" value="0" />

 

But is still comes up.

What Splash Screen you are talking about? What application, or web-site?
