Text in my app (Beginner)

Hey Everyone,

I just started with XDK and app development in general.  I was playing around with some different features and when I dragged "text" over from under the Common section to my blank template, it just dropped a box with a T in the center.  I can't figure out how to get rid of it.  I can't enter text.  Can't move it.  When I hover over it with my mouse, it's just a closed fist.  Does anybody know how to get rid of this?

Hey!
Create a new sample project and check if the problem exists or not .
And then post result here so that it can be accessed

P.S If you could post a picture regarding your problem that would greatly help :)

Best Regards

You can always switch to Code view to directly make any change you want.

And the Design view has a "Reload" button (the two arrows going around each other) if you ever need to reload it entirely.
