I've never used this so please bear with me...

I've installed the license manager, and this is what I get when I run lmgrd:

14:57:44 (lmgrd) FlexNet Licensing (v11.11.1.1 build 119913 x64_lsb) started on pastec.gtri.gatech.edu (linux) (1/20/2014)

Unfortunately I don't know what questions to ask because I don't know what the problem is. Please advise

Hi Ben,

Could you please email me your license file (/opt/intel/flexlm/server.lic)?  I'm sending my email via private message now.

Thanks.

Ben,

Here are our findings.  According the table in this page (https://www.linuxbase.org/lsb-cert/productdir.php?by_lsb), SUSE 10 32-bit is complaint to LSB 3.0, while SUSE 10 64-bit isn't.  It appears that you will see "status code 17" error if you use 64-bit License Manager on 64-bit SUSE 10.  The solution is upgrade your OS or use 32-bit License Manager.
