Please fix bugs of this new release!
App Preview in OS never works. Plugins intel.cache and intel.device (even with tricks of checking and unchecking) are always UNDEFINED!
You are putting us all in troubles!

The Unchecking/re-checking of plugins just before build is working for me. The settings get messed up when you visit the Emulate tab so i avoid going to that tab after i do the unchecking/re-checking of the plugin selections.
If these work arounds are not working for you and blocking development for you you should consider using an older version of the XDk until they fix the problem,

Hello,
@Allesandro, sorry about the inconvenience with the new release.
About the plugin checking/unchecking issue what SithLord said is correct. The settings get messed up when you use Emulate tab. I've filed that bug. So, for now, your build should work if you check the plugin and then directly build it. I'm looking into the issue of App Preview.
Thanks for your patience.
One thing all of you might want to try is uninstall the new release completely (remove cache etc.) and then re-install, sometimes updating from within XDK also could cause problem.

With Intel XDK nothing works only HTML and Jscript but nothing referent to intel.xdk or cordova... now I try to use cordova.inAppBrowser plugin.. I checked on project settings and when I try to invoke get the same cordova is not defined.. and when I try to invoke intel is the same intel is not defined... then my conclusion is that Intel XDK for OSX do not work and I spent a lot of time building this app thinking that the problem is mine.
Please when you fix all the issues for Intel XDK for OSX let me know and I go to develop in this tool again.

Hi Alexander,
A fix for the plugin issue is being worked on and will be available to all soon. For now if you could start your project fresh and check/uncheck the plugins you are using and then use Test tab and Build tab without touching the emulate tab, it should work for you.
I appreciate your patience.

Thank You.
Anyway the workaround works only on AppPreview in Android devices. With AppPreview on iOs devices even by uncheck/check the plugins are never loaded.
will the new release fix this iOs bug? it's important
