I have attempted to download/install XDK for several days now. I am unable to continue with my course in HTML5 because I cannot get it to download. I have received both messages "The signature of this file is corrupt or invalid" and "Package signature verification failed."
I am running Windows 7 so there shouldn't be a problem in the installation, yet I cannot use the program. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Pamela

Pamela,
You say you've tried for several days, so I am sure you have tried multiple times.
Here is what I suggest (you may only need steps 1 and 4, especially if you've already tried steps 2 and 3:
- Make sure you have a good network connection that will not be interrupted while you are downloading and installing
- If installation fails, try installing again (repair)
- If installation fails more than once, uninstall and try reinstalling fresh
- Since you got a corrupt file message, this might be where you want to start. Uninstall XDK, download a fresh copy of the installation package, and install from that

See this FAQ Installing the Intel XDK on Windows fails with a "Package signature verification failed." message. > https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/faqs/general#install-pkg-sig-failed < the problem described also affects some Windows 7 and later machines, it is not limited to Windows XP machines.
