Hello,
I am having difficulties with the PSXE 2016 setup when I select the VS2015 integration option. I can successfully install PSXE without VS2015 integration.
The setup process aborts immediately after the installation starts. The error in the log files looks like this:

The log contains references to VS2010 and Composer XE 2013 which I no longer have installed. The installer application, however, shows a few warning messages that Composer 2011' and 2013' integration in VS will be replaced with PSXE 2016. The older versions of the Intel compiler have been uninstalled and these messages shouldn't appear.
Actions performed to debug the problem:
- Multiple uninstall/install cycles of VS2015 and PSXE 2016
- Purge all Intel references from the registry
- Purge the user AppData directory from all VS2015 and Intel references
The error still persists. Could you please advise how it could be resolved.
Thank you,

Hi K L.,
Could you please try to look for any occurrence of VS2010 and Composer XE 2013 in registry and remove it manually?
If the issue still exists, after installing VS 2015, could you please try to find original package of installed Composer XE 2013 and uninstall it by launching setup.exe from package. And then try to install PSXE 2016 again.
I have sent a private message asking for the installation log file. Thanks.

The problem was resolved thanks to Zhuowei's valuable help.
These are the steps advised by Zhuowei:
- Installed VS2010
- Installed Intel Composer 2013
- Installed Intel PSXE 2016 [success]
- Uninstalled Intel Composer 2013
- Uninstalled VS2010
My VS2015 installation however was corrupted as a result of the above. Using the "Repair" option of the installer didn't help. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Afterwards everything worked as expected (including the Intel compiler integration in VS2015).
The cause of the problem is unknown at this time.
