VTune Amplifier for OS X

I'm an undergraduate and I've just registered a student account with my .edu email. I downloaded Parallel Studio XE Compose Edition for OS X but found it did not contain VTune. Then I looked up https://software.intel.com/en-us/qualify-for-free-software/educator yet did not have a clue. How to download VTune for OS X and get its serial number? Many thanks.

There is no VTune in Composer Edition. You need to get the Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition to have a VTune™ Amplifier XE. However, native collection in OS X is not currently available, so, there is no OS X version of VTune - just Windows or Linux. Note that we do have a VTune GUI for OS X (OS X Viewer) where you can view the results collected on other OSs.
