XDK crashes ~2min after opening

Hi,

Everytime I open XDK, it lasts around 2 minutes and then I get the crash report form. Sometimes I have time to do things, sometimes it crashes during the splash screen... I already sent the log, you can also find it here : http://pastebin.com/01qGgH7E

What is strange is that it worked very well last time I exported a project (according to the editing date, it was in February 2015).

I saw another forum post from May with a similar problem, but uninstalling - installing back solved it for him where it doesn't for me.

Thanks in advance

Ok, I figured out how to solve it : I had WideCap installed. It's a proxy application, but no proxy was set up. I started to worry when it became critical and that even my antivirus could not download its update... I uninstalled the application and now it works

Thanks for your help

Which version of Windows OS are you using? Are you behind a firewall?

Could you also try the suggestions in this FAQ to see if it helps?

I'm running Windows 8.1, not on a VM. As I never interested me in Firewalls, I don't think I'm using one (I haven't made any changes of that type between February and now) I will try the FAQ suggestions this afternoon.

No solution in the FAQ worked. It seems to be an issue with the projects, because when I deselect a project before opening, it doesn't crash, but once I select one, even a sample project, it stays arround 30 seconds.

Maybe it's a Firewall issue, because I made a project and I had enough time to click the button to test the project on an online device, but I got a message dialog with the word "Firewall" (I can't remember the whole message). I think that Firewall settings changed between two Windows updates. That would be why it have worked and it doesn't now. Could you help me to set it up properly ?
