Hi
Can anyone tell me if v. 3400 is supposed to stop working? I have this version installed and, suddenly, it stopped work the build process showing the message: Error contacting remote server under the build tab... just one day before I must release an important project :-(

Hi Reginaldo,
Check the following links with information about the error and the version you are using (it has been deprecated).

Hi Reginaldo,
In addition, make sure you read the following sticky thread about the future direction of Intel XDK: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk/topic/700951

Hi Gasto-hillar
Thanks for your reply.
It's sad that xdk is going to change in such fashion... IoT is the name of the game in the next few years and Intel guys must pay their bills, so... I'm not judging, but people out there could be took in more consideration; unfortunatelly, in the end of the day, it's all about money.

Hi Reginaldo,
IoT is hot. However, I'm also sad to see the direction Intel XDK is taking. I suggested hundreds of developers to use Intel XDK during previous years (many of them want to kill me). However, I'm sure Intel will continue to provide software products that will be useful for all of us in the IT industry.
