Hello,

Our educator license expired 4 days ago. According to the license agreement, we still should be able to use Intel Parallel Studio, but it does not work:

$ icc -v

Error: A license for Comp-CL could not be obtained
Your license has expired.

License file(s) used were (in this order):

...

Please visit http://software.intel.com/sites/support/ to obtain license renewal information.

icc: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

I would like to reapply for the educator license but I can't find where I can do that. I checked out https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/educator-faq and several other pages. I hoped that I could renew license in the Registration Center, but it now lists only the other two licenses that we have, and not the educator license that recently expired. Students need to use compilers for their classes, and nothing can be done other than using GNU compilers. Could you please help with this issue.

Thank you,

Marina.

Hi Marina,

You will find the information you need on our Free Tools for Educators page. You should be able to request another Educator license. If you need more help please leave a personal message with your email address and Serial Number so I can look at your old license information.

Noga

On the Educator page or the Student page identify the product you would like to install and the corresponding OS and click on it. This will take you to the forms you will need to fill in order to request a free license.
