kick off IOT journey

I am a technology enthusiast. I have almost no exposure to IOT as off now. But I want to attend IOT road show happening this year in India.

will it be a hackathon or will they guide as well how to get started with development?

I am a C# developer, looking forward to install windows OS on developer kit which we get. Or will we get OS installed?

Can we build app using C#? Is there any examples someone can point me?

I am a Developer evangelist working from India. I will be there in the event to support you guys.

You can develop application using c/c++, nodejs and phython. currently you may not be able to develop anything in c#. We will provide the Linux OS image at the the venue and we will also provide all the development tools. There will a getting started tutorial at the event. Please submit your idea. if your idea is good, you can tag along with other developers and develop something.
