Hello,
If I have two floating licenses for two products, do I have to combine them into one license file?
what benefits do it provide to use two license files?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Yes, you should combine the license files.
There is no real advantage to having 2 license files, accept that one license file may have been purchased at a later date and therefore adding to the seat count for your combined license.

Hi Jennifer,
Combining multiple license files helps the license administrator by having to maintain only one license file and ease of use. (setting the environment variables is easy, providing license path is easier etc.)
There is no performance impact using either way or extra license seats :)
If you see any issues let us know.
If you want tocombine license files , please read Section 4.3 in Intel License Manager for FLEXlm* User's Guide at http://software.intel.com/file/6389
Thanks
