I cannot seem to get both the internal gma3000 video enabled andmyexternal PCIe video:Nvidiagtx280. DG965WH mombo with latest bios and Vista 64. If internal video is selected in bios, the Device Manager does not show the Nvidia. If PCIe is selected, the intel gma3000 does not show up. If AUTO is selected, the PCIe is enabled even if no monitor is present on the PCIe and one is on the 3000. Irregardless, theintelis not enabled. I do not have this problem on a tyan mombo with ATI onboard video http://swri.info/images/ati_nvidia.png I assume this is a bios problem. Before buying the nvidia (it is used for CUDA processing, not graphics) I did have an "addn" pcie video adapterand that worked with the internal gpa3000 graphics to gve me a 2nd monitor. I can understand if the nvidia driver or intel driver cannot work with one another, but I would think at a minimum both would show up in the vista device managerlist.

If there is a forum or a better place to ask about bios problems, please let me know.

This is normal behavior. When the PCIe x16 port is used, the Intel graphics are disabled.

Thanks...

It also appears that even if they were both "allowed", that Vista would only enable one of them.
