I recently downloaded pin and saw that the xed header files are released under the Intel Open Source License.
If I compile something in extras/xed2-intel64/examples can I release the executables? (as they will be linked against libxed.a)
I see extras/xed2-intel64/LICENSE.txt, but that seems to be more restrictive then than the Intel Open Source License in regards to redistribution.
Is the source that produces extras/xed2-intel64/lib/libxed.a available under the Intel Open Source License? If so, where can I get it?

Hi Dwight,
This is a forum to ask start-up questions, e.g. license and product download. For questions about pin, you might want to try VTune Amplifier XE forum.
Thanks.
